The DOA, engaged Construction Supervision Consultancy Services, on behalf of the department, for the construction supervision under Farm Road Rehabilitation Program Funded through GoI-SDP (Package 2: 80km). APECS consultant fielded six full time engineers to carry out the construction supervision. The duration of the construction ranged from 18 to 24 months.
Following were the major scope of the assignment:
- Construction Supervision consultant carried out following roles and responsibilities on behalf of the department:
- Construction supervision on full time basis
- Approval of construction materials, works and all Quality control aspects
- Verification of Running bills
- Safeguarding of environment and social issues
- Recommendation of time extension and quantity deviation to the department
- Recommendation of additional, extra quantities to the department
