Detailed survey and design of ware house, office and guest house for CDCL

CDCL is the construction arm of the Royal Government. It is engaged in the construction of Bridges, tunnels and other national assets. In line of its mandate CDCL planned to construct ware house to store its construction materials exported from the neighboring states of India, Bangladesh and Nepal. The management of CDCL also decided to construct RCC office and a guest house at Damdara, Phuentsholing.

Following were the major scope of the assignment:

  • Detailed Field Survey and Mapping
  • Details Design and Drawings (Architectural and structural)
  • Prepare of Project Cost Estimate.

Detailed survey and design of Regional Hydrology and Meteorology office

The National Centre for Hydrology and Meteorology (NCHM), planned to construct Regional office in eastern Bhutan at Kurizampa, Mongar.  The 65 decimals of land was used for the project. The proposed office building is serving as house of the office of the regional officer, office for minimum of 5 technicians, sediment lab; Early warning System (EWS) control room for Kurichhu, store room, small guest room for the staffs, and 2 bed room flat for the Regional office, the building is serving as functional requirement for a regional office of the department for eastern districts.

Following were the major scope of the assignment:

  • To conduct detail site survey, to prepare site plan, preliminary architectural layouts/design and site development details.
  • To present the preliminary layout design (site plan, site development and conceptual designs in 3D view for better visualization) to National Center for Hydrology and Meteorology for comments and modifications.
  • To prepare detail working drawings for architectural, site development, water supply & sanitation, Structural detailing, Electrical drawings etc… complete in all respects.
  • To prepare detailed cost estimate for civil/architectural/electrical etc complete with BoQ and detail specifications of the materials required
