Detailed Topography Survey for the re- construction of bridges at Hejo and Dechencholing, for the Thimphu Thromde.
CDCL was entrusted with survey, design and construction/rehabilitation of RCC bridges in the kingdom. As a part of the mandate CDCL carried out topography survey of Hejo and Dechenchholing proposed bridge site area and APECS was awarded this work.
Following were the major scope of the assignment:
- Detailed topographic survey
- Preparation of plan, longitudinal profile and cross-section
- Bridge layout survey including fixing benchmarks.
Topography Survey of E4 Areas (Simtokha and Babesa) and Establishment of Control Points within Thimphu Thromde.
Thimphu Thromde have been regularly carrying out Topography survey various precints for development of the precincts. Towards this effort the Thromde awarded the detailed Topography survey of the E4 Precinct (upper Babesa) under Thimphu Thromde to APECS consultant. The work was carried out using total stations and other state of the art survey equipment such as RTK and DGPS
Following were the major scope of the assignment:
• Field visit and of division of survey zones.
• Fixing of TBM from the established BM by Thromde/ NLC
• To carry out topography survey (all existing features both natural and man-made were captured).
• To prepare topography survey map in A0 size paper.
• Submission of survey data both in soft and hard copy including .shape files.
